This pizza will really work with any pizza dough, so I'm not going to worry about posting this dough recipe. Basically any type and any size pizza dough will work. The idea is that you are going to put tomato based pizza sauce down on the dough. Then you are going to pour some hot sauce on top, I prefer Frank's Hot Sauce. Next toss down some cooked chicken slices then top with Mozzarella and Monterey Jack Cheese. Bake the pizza and then top it with blue cheese crumbles after it's done.
A lot of recipes on the internet skip the tomato based sauce and only use a hot sauce. I find it crucial to use a real pizza sauce. I don't want to have a pizza with just hot sauce. Spread down the tomato sauce first.
Pour a little more than 1/8 cup of hot sauce all over the sauced pizza. Save a little bit for later.
Put the cooked chicken on the pizza and then put down a layer of Mozzarella cheese. Then put down an equal layer of Monterey Jack cheese. Once the cheese is even on top of the pizza pour the remaining hot sauce around, especially if you like it spicy.
I baked this particular pizza on a screen so it went in the oven for about 12 minutes at 450 degrees. The minute it came out I topped it with blue cheese crumbles.
This pizza may not be a favorite of a pizza purist but I'll tell you this: it sure it tasty!
