Sausage is a really easy topping to add to your homemade pizza and provides such a great taste. You can choose any linked sausage you like. I prefer hot Italian sausage. The reason that I like sausage links is that you can grill the leftovers the next day for sausage sandwiches. When you work with a sausage link I find it best to cut off the casing and crumble the sausage by hand.
Set your pan for medium/medium high heat and stir often.
After the sausage has browned sit it on a napkin for a minute or two to soak up the excess grease. Now it is ready to put on your uncooked pizza.
